Toledo Turners collection, 1858-1987.

The bulk of the collection contains records of the business end of the organization. The materials contained in the scrapbooks, documenting the history of the club from 1895-1976 through newsclippings and memorabilia, would perhaps be of greatest interest to researchers. Newsletters, dating from 1935-1987, including the "Monthly Review of the Toledo Turn und Sport Verein" and "The Toledo Turner", are also of interest as well as a number of programs and fliers for events, including the dedication for Turner Hall (1895), and other occasions (1936-1985).
